I consider myself an occasional blogger, but I would like to write more than I do. Maybe it’s not writing that you want to do more of, but I know there is something in your life that needs a boost. FULL OF ENTHUSIASM AND NERVOUS JITTERS YOU MAKE YOUR WAY OUT INTO THE CHOIR LOFT AND TAKE YOUR SEAT. AS YOU SING PRAISES TO THE LORD, YOU LOOK OUT AND NOTICE VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE SINGING ALONG. A LITTLE DISHEARTENED, YOU PUSH ON SINGING YOUR SONGS TO THE LORD! THEN, YOU NOTICE
“SHOULD PASTORS KNOW WHO VOLUNTEERS?”
As a Pastor should you pay attention to how much your people volunteer? If someone was not volunteering would you consider their lack of serving to be a spiritual issue? Would you want to encourage them to get involved? If they are not serving they are missing out on a giant portion of what it means to be a follower of Christ. The giving of time and finances, among other things is important to the Christ like life.
